I have only been a deviant for two years, but over those two years deviantART has helped me showcase my artistry and creativity as well as connect with some of the artists whose work I admire.
Here are some of my deviations that represent my journey as an graphic artist.
Before I even joined deviantART and later started creating fan-art of a certain television series involving pastel-colored ponies, I focused on drawing anime, manga, and pencil-and-paper sketches. Once I became a fan of My Little Pony, I then drew sketches of a personal fan-character based on the villains from the second season finale. Since the television series was animated with Toon Boom or Flash, I then decided to brush up on my skills at using Adobe Illustrator, which I first learned to use in high school.
Once I discovered and learned how the vector puppets for the equine characters were rigged, I began working on my own vector fan art and managed to create my own puppets. Since then, I've been entertaining "bronies" with my art, but I hope to vary my focus and experiment with other art media in the near future.
Happy birthday, deviantART!
